I only ever do incalls. No transportation. At some point, when I have a car, I might do outcalls, but honestly I prefer working out of my own home. I like my own bed. I like the little corner with chairs that I have where I give interviews to first-time clients before having sex with them. I have all my lingerie here, and a box of condoms in about ten different sizes. I have my cupboard full of toys. I can’t imagine carrying around a suitcase full of vibrators and rope and lube.

The only thing that I hate about incalls is the endless laundry, but admittedly there are days when I think a hotel would be a better option just so I don’t have to wash any more sheets. :D

From the ladies whom I have spoken to at work, the choice of incall venue depends largely on how many days per week they want to do at a particular place.

If they're only going to be in an area once a week, then getting a standard apartment for incalls makes no sense financially. Rather, they'd prefer to use a hotel or serviced apartment for work, as it means that the risk of a long-term loss is minimised. The obvious drawback for them is that the booking hours for hotels are often pants, as they'll never be able to get their visitors in during the lunch hours, plus they can't customise a place to their own tastes.

It would be interesting though to see how guys express their preferences on this issue.

Rose - interview the clients before hand in chair in the corner?, sorry i had to chuckle. x i do all that over the phone have a brief chat before to confirm and make sure they do understand what i offer.

i rent an apartment its my home from home, so much like you rose i have microwave furniture washing machine, cost me in total around £800 month, but i have slipped into part time mode and no making the most of it, i wont work from my home just in case of trouble etc, is easier to move from a rental than a mortgaged property......they both have pros and cons to them, and my work apartment is in the city center is exactly how i want it, all girlie and modern, wheres as home is an old cottage in tiny village with my fella mainly dark wood, i love the two different worlds.  .

From a punters view I like apartment. As once I was in a hotel and the police raided the room. I got taken to the police station but let go with no charges.

So I avoid the hotels.. 😤👍🏼

What the hell was going on for the police to take you in?

Unless there was something seriously dodgy about the lady in question, clients are usually allowed to leave without any major problems.

Ariel - Hah, yeah, I’m pretty old-fashioned. I hate phone calls, even when talking to family and loved ones. I like to be able to watch people when I’m speaking to them, and that goes double for clients. I find that the in-person interview puts people at ease (it puts me at ease too, maybe because I did a lot of them in my previous careers as teacher / youth worker / crisis counsellor). Though I do need to get some comfier chairs.

I’d absolutely love to have an apartment to work from, but I just don’t earn that kind of money, in part due to illness, and in part due to not figuring out how to market myself yet. Maybe next year. :)
